Ad Hoc Workgroup on Secondary Uses of Health Data

Notice of Open Conference Call

Purpose -- To provide an opportunity for public comment on a "pre-decisional draft" of the NCVHS report: Enhanced Protections for Uses of Health Data: A Framework for “Secondary Uses” of Electronically Collected and Transmitted Health Data. The pre-decisional document will be made available on Monday, October 22, 2007.

To be included in the list of respondents, please submit your intent to offer oral comments (no more than 5 minutes each, will be strictly enforced) to Debbie Jackson, djackson@cdc.gov or call (301) 458-4614. Ms. Jackson will compile all names who have requested time in advance (by October 29) to respond to the draft report. Those names will be called on first to offer comments. Then any others on the call will be given the opportunity, as time allows.

Written comments will be accepted through Tuesday, November 6th, c.o.b.
